Now Accepting Issue Editorials
What is an editorial?
An editorial is a scholarly article written in a literary style that pertains to an issue or topic of interest. Editorials should contain objective and constructive information as a means to discuss, teach or explain. High-quality editorials use professional, clear, and concise language and a professional tone. Effective editorials are insightful and inspire critical thinking.
Requirements:
- The topic is relevant to acute care
- Evidence-based to support statements/topic
- Word count 500-800 words
- Topic approved by the chief and senior editorial board members
For each issue, one accepted editorial will be published per issue (Winter and Summer timeframe). All topics are approved by the Chief Editor and Senior Editor of the journal to ensure the topic is relevant to the journal’s audience and mission as well as consideration for the topics for a given published issue.
